About five years ago, I found this signed photo in my late Grandfather's belongings. I remember him talking about meeting William Lee Golden on a fishing trip in Idaho (I think). Just wondering if it has any value. Thank You!

William Lee Golden Signed Photo
by: Bill

The Oak Ridge Boys group began in the 1950s under the name the Oak Ridge Quartet. They recorded and performed gospel until the late 1960s when they moved towards country-pop. William Lee Golden gets much of the credit for moving them in that direction where they became mainstream popular. Almost everybody alive in America then heard "Elvira."

Dealers would probably list that photo in the $15 - $25 range. An Oak Ridge Boys signed photo featuring all four, including Golden is worth about $75.

Those group photos haven't always included Golden. He got kicked out of the group in the 1980s and was allowed to rejoin eight years later.
