WCW Wrestling Autographs

When I was a about 8 or 9, I loved wrestling. The WCW used to put on shows at the Richmond Coliseum. The wrestlers stayed at the Howard Johnson on the boulevard. My mom worked in the restaurant there and collected several autographs for me-- old ones like Andre the Giant, Wahoo McDaniel, Blackjack Mulligan and several others. These are the true wrestlers, not like today's showboats.

Andre the Giant didn't like to sign autographs and he died at only 46. His autograph is hard to find. His popularity transcended wrestling. He had a big part in the Princess Bride, and he was also in several more movies and TV episodes. A collector might pay as much as $100 for a signature. Signed photos are worth about twice that much.
Wahoo was very popular as a wrestler, and he was a pro football player before he got into wrestling. His signature is worth about $25. Mulligan was pretty well known in his time but might even be better known as the father of Barry and Kendall Windham. His signature is worth $10 - $15.
