Tony Dorsett Signed football.

I worked for Great West Insurance Company in Dallas, TX. Tony Dorsett was a spokesperson for the company, and we got to meet him. I had a football signed and a photo taken with him with the football. The football is a cheap Spalding or Wilson, not one marked official NFL. He wrote Tony Dorsett HOF 98 or 99(not sure what year it was) and the football is in my storage building with the picture. I have no paperwork to authenticate it except the picture.

Can you give me an idea what it might be worth?

A Tony Dorsett signed football is worth about $150. You are right. It would have been better to have had a higher quality of ball signed. But if it is a nice, legible autograph it still might bring that on a good day. The more knowledgeable the collector, the more he looks for quality.
