Collecting the Autographs of the The Three StoogesThe Three Stooges are arguably the most successful comedy act in American history. The Stooges signed tens of thousands of autographs during their career, and several of them were signing until the day they died. Yet key autographs are hard to find and cost a bundle when you do find them. As a group, Larry, Moe and Curly (Howard) are gold. Expect to pay $2,000 and up for a signed photo of this lineup - way up for a very good photo on an original movie still. Signatures on the same page start at about $1500. Larry, Moe and Shemp group signed photos are also very desirable. Autographs with Shemp as the third Stooges might be harder to find than Curly, but sell for about the same prices as the Curly line-up. Group signed photos with DeRita and Besser are easier to find and would sell in the mid-hundreds, with wide price variations. Emil Sitka
