The Last Christmas Show, Signed by Bob Hope

My mother found this book in the sale bin of local library. When she opened it there was Bob Hope's autograph. It reads "To Jim Jaeggli(?) (signed) Bob Hope." We googled Bob Hope's autograph and this signature looks exactly like his other autographs we found. Thank you for your time.

Bob Hope Signed Book
by: Bill

It has been said that Bob Hope employed secretaries to sign most of his "through the mail autographs." He did however authentically sign many thousands of autographs throughout his long career. Almost all of his signed books that I have seen have authentic autographs, and all of them were inscribed, as yours is.

His signed books bring a wide range of prices, but the general trend is "up." I think $100 would be a reasonable price for a book in excellent condition, with a dustcover.

Signed Book
by: Heidi

I purchased the book "The Last Christmas Show" at a garage sale for my father and was excited to find an autograph by Bob Hope inside. The book is addressed to Leonard Reed, I found out he was a tap dancer/comedian. Leonard died in 2004 at the age of 97. There were also some personal items in the book that belonged to Leonard Reed (a print out of his daughters wedding annuoncement and a print out of a poem someone named Daurice Reed wrote. Would this be considered a collectible?
