Sergio Sergio Franchi Signed Opera Record by: Bill
I think you mean Sergio Franchi.
Franchi dabbled in opera, but was more successful singing light pop classics. His specialty was Italian love songs, and his recordings had a loyal audience.
He was a guest on most of the musical-variety programs of the 1950s. He was a frequent performer on the Red Skelton Show, the Mike Douglas Show, the Dean Martin Show, the Hollywood Palace and the Ed Sullivan Show.
He appeared in several movies and was a star on Broadway. He did very successful concert tours in both Europe and America. He performed at the Flamingo Room in Las Vegas from 1969 to 1972.
Franchi is mostly forgotten today, but his autographs sometimes do find buyers. Collectors of of "old Las Vegas" might be among the buyers of his signed material.
The right buyer might pay as much as $50 for your autographed album.
