Ronald Reagan Four Page Letter

by George Bancroft
(Medford, NY)

My mom was a big Ronald Reagan fan and in the late 1940s, early 1950s she wrote to him asking to be president of his fan club. He answered in a four page letter explaining that he already had a president for his fan club. It is still in the original envelope with postmark

Ronald Reagan Fan Club Letter
by: Bill

Your mother must have been a big fan. I'll bet she was surprised when he became Governor of California and then President of the United States.

You didn't say if the letter was typed or handwritten. The typical Ronald Reagan typed and signed letter (authentic signature and before he became president)is worth $600. A letter written entirely in his hand and before he became president is worth $1500. If the letter has great content it could be worth even more.
