Ronald Reagan Autograph

This Autographed photo was my great-grandfather's. It was given to him by The National Republican Congressional Committee. It is an official inaugural photograph taken in Washington DC on Tuesday, January 20, 1981. I know this because there is a letter with it signed by two people - Guy Vander Jagt chairman and Robert Michel, Minority Leader, House of Representatives. Reagan wrote this before signing it "Thanks to your help, this moment was possible". Then he signed his name.

I think you probably have a preprinted autograph, meaning it was printed along with the rest of the photo. Newly elected or sitting presidents do not have anything close to enough time to sign all of their autograph requests or answer all of their mail.

If it is authentic, it is worth in the $400 - $500 range.
