Pete Maravich Autographed Basketball

I have an autographed Pistol Pete Maravic basketball that I have had for many, many years. I was offered $2500 from a season ticket holder a few weeks back when I was at a Hawks game. I told him that I wanted $3500.00 for it and he said that fair market was about $2500.00. I really don't know if he was dreaming or smoking something, I have not seen a PP autographed basketball in the last 10 plus years. Does anybody have any input?

I also have a new NBA ball signed by Pistol Pete with his Pistol Pete signature and "John 14:6". It was signed at a convention after he converted to Christianity. It is in perfect condition, new in box. What value and where do I sell it to get a fair price? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have a Pete Maravich autographed basketball from the movie "DRIBBLE"/"SCORING". The basketball is also signed by producer and over 20 other cast members.

Can anyone give me a ballpark figure of what something like this is worth?

Any advice on how/where to sell?

I called a few dealers and was informed that if I could even find a Pete Maravich signed BB that it would bring in anywhere from $3200 to $4000. There has not been one in the market place for over two years.

You're right about the basketball being hard to find, but I think $2500 is a fair price.
