Paul Newman Signed Check

I worked as an assistant bookkeeper with my mother at Torno Lumber in Westport, CT, right out of high school (I graduated in 1972). Mr. Paul Newman came in and bought something at the hardware store and paid by check. Rather than deposit the check, my mother put the cash in the deposit and gave the check to me. I have kept it all these years. I am curious to see if it is worth anything.
