Paul McCartney

by Evan Davies

About 5 years ago, we were asked to clean out a property in Sth East England. The house was the girlfriend of Sir Paul's driver/chaffuer, and there was loads of stuff laying about. There was plenty of backstage IDs etc, and most of it got skipped (now regretting), but I did keep two items, a CD Driving Rain signed "Cheers Paul McCartney" and an autographed book by Alex Higgins the snooker legend signed to Barry the driver.

Now I have moved back to New Zealand with my wife and kiddies. The CD is in great condition, considering it was just buried in piles of stored belongings.

It has a crack in the plastic cover, but that doesn't detract and the book is in remarkable condition given its age, 1986.

Any idea of value would be great.

I can send photos if required, but don't know what file size.

You should have kept the rest of the memorabilia. Some of it might have been valuable.

The Paul McCartney CD cover is worth about $1250.

I don't know anything about snooker or Alex Higgins so I will not tackle him. Maybe someone else will comment.
