Out of the ones left, one is Gentleman Fred Bozic, wrestling promoter Bill Johnston? & Bill Miller. Here are the ones I'm not sure of, two being the same person. Thanks again.

The first and the last is Pierre LaSalle. French Canadian, he was the uncle of Johnny & Jacques Rougeau. He also worked under the name Eddy Auger.

I don't recognize the other two.

Thanks Bill! It looks like one is Wild Bill ... Something? Anyway, thanks again.

I can see "Wild Bill," but I can't see any name I recognize in the rest of it. The only "Wild Bills" I know from the 1950s are Wild Bill Longson and Wild Bill Savage. It doesn't look like either of them.

Bill Miller?
by: Tom V.

Bill,

I noticed on my Bill Miller, when I googled him, it said ... his debut was in 1952, but my autograph says ... 1951. It also stated he wrestled under other names such as DR. Miller, Big Bill Miller etc. I remember growing up as a mid-Atlantic wrestling fan, there was a Danny Miller. Any relation & is this the same Miller??? Thanks again, Tom
_____________
_____________Answer:

Bill Miller was a licensed veterinarian, so he was a legit doctor and did sometimes work as Dr. Bill Miller. He also worked as Big Bill Miller, Mr. M, and Dr X. He was a top wrestler in the 1950s and 1960s and probably made more money as a wrestler than he would have as a veterinarian. Danny Miller was his brother.

Websites often contradict one another. If your autograph says 1951, he was probably wrestling then. In those days, wrestlers inched their way into the ring, little by little. It's easy to miss matches in the early years because they were most likely at the bottom of the cards, and might have even been stand-bys for those who didn't show up. A mistake shows up on one website and gets picked up by others.
