Loretta Lynn - First Lady Of Country

Loretta Lynn has always been my hero from the first time I heard her sing "Coal Miner's Daughter." Her life has been so parallel to mine, it is near scary. When I was a young mom and raising my babies alone, I dreamed of singing like her.
As I got older I started pursuing this dream and for nearly 8 years was known as the first lady of country up and down the state of California. I traveled and sang and lived my dream. For my 40th birthday my husband took me to the last concert Loretta did in Reno, Nevada, and it was my dream come true to watch her in person, but when I tried to get her autograph, as I was in a wheel chair at the time, I could not get close enough before she had to leave. I was so disappointed and heart broken. But I saw and heard her that is enough
