Lena Horne - Stormy Weather

My father had casually mentioned to one of my brothers how much he liked Lena Horne. It took my brother several years until he came across this autographed photo by Lena Horne at auction. He sent it to Dad as a gift thinking he either hit a home run or it was a complete flop.

My brother never heard back from Dad on which it was. It wasn’t until after my father’s death that we finally found out. It was hidden in plain view adjacent to his computer desk. Dad would have seen her just about every day. My brother finally had his answer – he hit a home run.
