KISS - The Best of the Solo Albums, Autographed
This isn't something I bought. I met all four of the embers of KISS:in person and had them sign my album.
First, the LP: it's a rare import-only record, never released in the U.S. - this particular one is German, I think.
Next, the autographs... I got the signatures at conventions in Florida in the mid-90s, where the members would appear for Q&A and autograph sessions. The signatures are silver paint pen on black background.
You can see the autograph in the upper left (Paul Stanley) is not very good. He was about to leave for the day, and mine was the last piece he signed as he was walking out the door... and I forgot to shake the paint pen to prime it! I still slap myself on the forehead when I think about that. Oh, well... he signed it, that's good enough for me. But, I know it'll detract from the value.
I know that the members of KISS are not shy about signing memorabilia, so the autographs might not be worth much individually, but I'm wondering if there might be a bonus for having them all four signing their images on a very rare LP.
And, by the way, this was a period in time where they were not playing together... it took 3 years for this to happen!
Any help would be appreciated... thanks in advance!
