Julia Roberts
I can't say that I am personally a great autograph buff, but it would be extremely pleasing to get Julia Robert's autograph for someone else. The gentleman is French. He is in his 80s, is a retired expert on municipal infrastructure, and is a widower.
Since the death of his wife, he has suffered from profound depression. The one thing in which he still takes an active interest is his collection of autographs of left-handed people. (He is left-handed himself.)
Since he used to travel here to give lectures to government executives, he has the autographs of several U.S. Presidents. He also has those of Winston Churchill and Charlie Chaplin.
The last time I was able to speak with him, he had learned that Julia Roberts was a lefty, and he told me it would mean the world to him to get her autograph. I tried but had no success with her P.R. office and I was very distressed at having to disappoint him.
