John Lennon Signed Photo

A good friend had a signed photo of John Lennon, and I used to tease him, saying make sure you leave it to me in your will. (I am a huge Lennon fan). When I was approaching 30 I got really down about it, so he gave me the autograph to cheer me up. He was a very good friend who sadly passed away last year. I would never part with this autograph, but would like to know its rough value, mainly for insurance reasons, not that it could ever be replaced.

Your friend gave you a valuable gift. A John Lennon signed photo is worth between $3500 - $4000, more if it was signed during his Beatle days.

The autographs of all of the Beatles are blue chip investments, but John is always going to be worth more than Paul, George and Ringo because he died so young, and there are less of them. Those who attempt to put together a collection of Beatles autographs will usually find John to be the toughest to find, and the most expensive.

Today's John Lennon autograph values will look cheap in the future.
