John Lennon and George Harrison Autograph

by John
(Orlando)

Beatles John and George Autograph

Beatles John and George Autograph

Forgive my timidness about sending the entire photo, but here is a portion of the picture with George Harrison's full autograph and a portion of John Lennon's.

Enjoy. It is exactly like it was when I got it over 40 years ago. John Lennon's entire signature is on the original and both signatures are in blue ink.

The entire picture has all of the Fab Four in as good a condition as you see in this scan which is slightly enlarged. The entire photo has Paul on the left, Ringo in the middle and George upper right with John beneath him.

What do you think?

The Signatures were definately performed at the Airport and I am fairly sure it was in Chicago, because that is where the person lived that got it. She was the cousin of my neighbor. I received it in 1965, so the autographed photo is at least 44 years old now.

John Lennon and George Harrison Autograph

The George Harrison autograph looks good to me. What little I can see of John's, I can tell that it is not the same handwriting. During the years that the Beatles were together, items to be autographed would often be sent backstage, or wherever else the Beatles were supposed to be. Somebody else would actually sign all four signatures, similar to baseball when batboys would sign for the players.

Forty years ago, I think the likelihood would have been that somebody forging the signatures would have forged all four.

When you are able, send me a scan of the entire photo.
