Jay Youngblood Autograph

1983, Richmond, VA - Between matches, a friend and I caught up to him. He was very friendly and took one polaroid picture,(unfortunately I did not end up with it.) I do have his autograph on a piece of notebook paper. Looking to see if there would any worth to it?

Jay Youngblood (Steven Romero)) died in 1985 at the age of 30. It is suspected that a ring injury led to a series of hear attacks. He did an Indian gimmick, but was really of Mexican heritage. He was the son of Rapid Ricky Romero, one of the most popular wrestlers in Texas in the 1960s and 1970s.

Jay saw his greatest success as the tag partner of Ricky Steamboat.

His autograph is worth $5 - $10.

Jay's mom was of Indian descent so he actually was an Apache Indian as well. He was one of the best people to ever know! I love him still to this very day and miss him more than I could ever put in words. I have his autograph probably 20 times or more and I cherish each and everyone of them! He had a smile that could stop the world! RIP Jay!
