But first read an article from "Joe" who found our site and remembered it when he was searching for "I Love Lucy" DVDS. I recently needed a DVD fix, and with no rental stores in town, I wandered into a second hand store. They only had three DVDs, and one of them had two I Love Lucy episodes on it. For some reason this seemed funny to me. After I calmed down, I remembered what a comic genius Lucille Ball was. I decided to see if I could find more of these classic TV shows, and I stumbled upon a terrific memorabilia web site. They have a terrific collection of DVDs, including the complete first season and complete second season, both fully re-mastered. They also have the complete fourth season, but it is not clear whether or not it is re-mastered. They also have other neat stuff, including a multimedia offering called, “Laughs, Luck, and Lucy.” This book with CD features the main script writer of the original Lucy shows, and has all kinds of behind-the-scenes goodies. I can’t wait to get my hands on this book. In particular, I am interested in the never-performed scripts: it will be so cool to see the material that someone (the producers? Lucy? Desi Arnez?) felt wasn’t good enough to make it into the show. The CD has audio from scenes with Lucy which were never aired, but were recorded. The site also has a trivia game, much like Trivial Pursuit, which looks like fun but seems a bit over priced. All in all, this web site is a terrific find. They have found an inventory of I Love Lucy collectibles which you might be hard-pressed to find elsewhere. Have fun laughing along with the red-head America loved, and continues to love....
