Hi everyone

I'm hoping someone can help me with some of the autographs on the front cover of this Grand Ole Opry book I purchased recently.

I have made out a couple of the names but I just can't see some of the others and I need some help before it sends me insane!

A couple of the names I've made out are "Oscar Sullivan & Lonzo Hooten" a comedy duo so that may give you the year!

Thanks for giving it ago it helps having a little help....I'm driving everybody daft with it I suppose looking for that surprise autograph that everyones missed....Cause you never know!

I don't recognize the others yet. Sometimes it takes a second or third look at another time to jar a memory.

Thanks for that...thats one down! It's so hard to make these names out especially when google doesnt come up with anything...That's one less I need to think about now.Have you any clue about the others?
I'll have a look on you tube at Eddie it's such an interesting topic The Grand Ole Opry.
I have also found Larry Kenney of Thundercats fame on the book so he must have been doing something at the Opry also. I have emailed him to ask him but I havent heard back as of yet...

The second one is Eddie Albert. While he was better known as an actor (his most famous role was Oliver Wendell Douglas in the hit TV series Green Acres), he was also a recording artist who made several albums.

He did appear on the Grand Ole Opera and got good reviews. One song he did there was Eddie Arnold's "Make the World Go Away."

Some of his performances are on YouTube.

I have a letter in my collection that Albert wrote to a disc jockey in 1956, thanking him for playing his recording of "Little Child" and "Jenny Kissed Me."
