George Harrison Autographs

My grandmother was visiting an artist friend in London in '67('68?)and one morning she was surprised to see George Harrison and Pattie Boyd coming in to sit for their portrait. She met them and told Harrison that her grandson was a BIG fan (he was 14 at the time and studying music)he graciously signed two pictures of the two of them with the artist: "To Neelkanth, best wishes George Harrison"

My brother has held onto them all of these years and is now interested in knowing what they are worth.

We are an Indo-American family, my grandmother was a stateswoman in India for many years. Her name was Kamaladevi Chattopadhyaya. She is in Wikipedia.

The photos are in India. My brother is going to scan them and I will supply those scans. I understand they have to be authenticated, and would be interested to know the process. Thanks

The Beatles were still in business in the late 1960s, and that makes your photos more interesting. All Beatles autographs are valuable. Your Harrison signed photos are probably worth more than $2000 each. If you have supporting documentation behind the story of your photos, they might be worth a good bit more than that.

If you can, send scans.
