Gene Autry and Champ

I recently cleaned out an old farmhouse that was going to be sold. There were a lot of very old things there. In a book dated 1943, there was a signed picture of Gene Autry and Champ. It reads. . . "From your pal, Gene Autry and Champ." I don't think it's a copy, and it's very old. It's also in very good condition.
