Gary Cooper in Vancouver

On one of Gary Cooper's trips to Vancouver he was invited by my cousin to come for dinner at her aunt's home (my grandmother) because my grandmother supposedly made the best fried chicken in Vancouver. He agreed to come and later that evening was unable to attend and instead sent a note to my Grandmother (Edith) apologizing for not being able to come. The note is written on Hotel Vancouver paper and says: "To Edith - With many good wishes my thanks and regrets about the dinner. Sincerely Gary Cooper"
