Fred Clarke Signed Postcard

Fred Clarke Signed Postcard

My great-grandfather covered the 1925 World Series for the Pittsburgh Pirates. About 15 years ago we sold several of the items he collected, including a 1925 World Series press pin.

Well recently I was throwing out several old books that have been in our attic forever. In doing so, several photographs fell out of one. They are personal shots of the Pittsburgh Pirates team prior to game one of the 1925 Series. But the one I need help with is Fred Clarke who wrote a personalized note and his autograph on a National Baseball Hall of Fame postcard. See picture attached.

I would like to get the items appraised but unsure who would look at these photos and autograph. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fred Clarke Signed Note and Postcard
by: Bill

The Gold Hall Of Fame Plaque Postcards were reprints of the original black and white cards. However, the gold cards date back to 1965, and they are popular collectibles. It is beyond the scope of this website to estimate values for memorabilia other than autographs, so I can't tell you how much your postcard is worth, except to say that it is valuable.

Here are Fred Clarke autograph values:

Signature - $250
Letter - $500
Signed Photo - $750
Signed Ball - $200

I hope that helps you price your memorabilia.
