The Fourth Stooge: Emil SitkaEmil Sitka, while never a formal member of the group, was considered "the Fourth Stooge" by many fans. He worked with all six Stooges. He appeared in dozens of their shorts and all of their movies. When Larry suffered his stroke, Sitka was invited to join Joe Derita and Moe as the Third (or middle) Stooge. Sadly, this version of the Stooges never got beyond the planning stages, and Larry Fine remained the original and only "Stooge in the Middle."
An autographed photo can be purchased for less than $100. Signatures sell for $30 - $50. There are a lot of them out there, many signed through the mail and at Stooge conventions after the Stooges performed their last act. Return to The Three Stooges Page
