David Lee "Tex" Hill - A real World War II fighter pilot and ace, with 12 1/4 enemy planes shot down in seven months after Pearl Harbor. While he was fighting with the AVG (American Volunteer Group) in the China Burma Theater (1942) as a group commander, downed another six enemy aircraft.

WWII Flying Aces are very collectible. A Tex Hill signed photo is normally worth about $35 at retail. I think a collector might pay more for yours. You own an especially good photo with a nice dated inscription. I like it a lot.
