A while back my uncle gave me a copy of Captain America #425: Fighting Chance Part I autographed by co-creator of Captain America Joe Simon and artist Dave Hoover. It came with a certificate of authenticity. 5000 of these were signed and come with the number on it. With Joe Simon creating one of the most recognizable super heroes of all time, I was just being curious as to the value of the signature. It is number 355/5000. Thanks.

Most comics signed by artists and writers are not worth much more than the comic. Those signed by legends like Bob Kane, Jack Kirby, Stan Lee, and Joe Simon are exceptions. Your comic is worth about $50 and has potential to be worth more in the future.
