Collecting the Autographs of Business Tycoons

Most of us want to be rich. Most of us either find ourselves on the wrong side of luck, or we don't want to sacrifice enough today to possibly become very wealthy sometime in the future.

All of us can collect the autographs of those who made it big in business. Some of them like the Henry Ford, Cornelius Vanderbilt, and Howard Hughes are very expensive, even though supply is high (tycoons were always signing something). Names most people wouldn't recognize like Henry Flagler (real estate, oil, and railroads) bring huge sums (signatures alone start at $1000.) The autographs of the founders of companies that everybody recognizes - J.C. Penney, McDonalds, and Westinghouse to name a few) are already costly, and they continue to rise.

That leads me to believe that the names of today's leaders that are inexpensive now, if not free, might be worth collecting - names like Ross Perot, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, and Donald Trump.

Many of the valuable names from the past became famous in other areas that attract collectors, making them cross-over collectibles - like Henry Ford.

Like automobiles in the last century, computers have become near necessities in this century.

Think Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Jeff Bezos.

The time to begin a collection is now.
