Bruce Lee Signed Contract
by Steve
(NYC)
I have the movie contract between Golden Harvest and Bruce Lee. Its dated 12/01/1971 for two years, it is also signed by Raymond Chow. Thanking you in advance.
Without a certificate of proof from a forensic document examiner verifying that the contract is real and that the names on the contract are not copies of a real contract or autopenned, what you have could be a $5 conversation piece or a $5,000 treasure. After LBruce Lee's death, copies of the contracts of his four movies were produced in the thousands.

A few years ago I paid 5k for a 4x6 photo. They were given out in 1972 for PR for the 2nd movie "Fist of Fury."

Hey man, post a picture of the contract. It would be cool to see and also try to determine if it is legit.

Bruce Lee Signed Contract by: Bill
What a nice piece of memorabilia! Bruce Lee was a 20th Century pop culture icon. He died at age 32. He played Kato in the TV series Green Hornet in 1966-1967 and his last film role was Enter the Dragon in 1973. That's not a long career; he didn't sign near enough autographs to satisfy demand.
It also adds to his mystique that he died under questionable circumstances.
Bruce Lee's name became known to a younger generation when his son Brandon Lee starred in the Crow. He died at the young age of 28 from a freak gun shot accident while filming the movie.
Bruce Lee had a meeting with Raymond Chow on the day of his death. I don't think the signature of Chow adds much value to the contract, but it is an extra layer of authenticity.
Your contract is probably worth $6,000+. It could bring a lot more, but the only way to find that out is to put it up for sale.
