Bing Crosby Autograph on UK Tour 1977

I have a Bing Crosby autograph from around the month before he died in 1977. It is part of a collection that my dad got while he was working back stage security at the Apollo in Manchester UK. I want to know its value.

I got his autograph...3 weeks before he died. He was on the same train as me going down to London, we were going to watch a football match..gave the autograph to my ex mother in law. I should of kept it I reckon.

I was working at the Midland Hotel in Manchester which is where he stayed on the 27th September 1977. He dined in the famous French Restaurant and it is on that menu that I have his autograph. What might it be woth some 33 years on?

I get many questions about Bing Crosby autographs on letters. Most of them are preprinted autographs, not authentic. Most of them are from the 1940s, sent from Crosby's fan mail service, when he was at the peak of his popularity. For awhile, he was the biggest name in show business. It would have been impossible for Crosby to have answered his own fan mail during that time.

It sounds like you have an authentic autograph.
