Beatles Hard Days Night Poster and Napkin

by Kerry
(Pensacola Beach, FL)

My ex husband purchased some items many years ago that had been signed by all four of the Beatles. One was a Sargent Peppers Album, a poster of Hard Days Night and a Napkin all four signature. He got the album in the divorce and I got the other two items. In the many moves until I got settled, I have discovered that they are missing. I am trying to find out the value of these two pieces for insurance reasons.

Is there anyway you can assist me.

Beatles Hard Days Night Signed Poster
by: Bill

My best guess is that your husband did not purchase authentic Beatles autographs. Signed Beatles albums are beyond rare. A Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band with all four autographs might bring as much as $50,000. Almost all of the autographed Beatles albums that are sold are fakes. Sgt. Peppers is the one of the most forged of all the Beatles albums because of its popularity. Most Beatles album that were signed by all four date back to before they came to America, and those were signed in Britain.

An authentic Hard Day's Night poster with authentic autographs would be worth more than the signed Beatles album. I'm not sure if one has ever surfaced. Most celebrity signed napkins aren't worth much, but anything the Beatles signed is. It would be worth more $4000+, or that's my best guess never having seen one.
