Beatles hand signed autographs
by Wendy Hodgden
(Kansas City, MO)
In 1964 I had an uncle that worked for Loews Theater and Entertainment in New York. He was able to get the Beatles autographs for me, hand signed in ink made out to me... Wendy. I have four identical photos each signed by one of the Beatles.I also have the letter from my uncle that came with the autographs stating they are real and how he got them.
I had them individually framed and matted and over time the signatures have faded somewhat.
I would like to sell them and want to know what they are worth. If interested I will make a jpg and send them to you and a copy of the cover letter. The envelope they came in is also is dated.

You should certainly take them off the wall, and maybe even take them out of the frames. You need to put an end to the fading now. Have a framing professional look at them. You might damage them if you try to separate the photos from the frame.
Even though your uncle personally got the photos signed, they still might not be authentic. The Beatles were swarmed by autograph seekers, many of them associated with the venues where they performed. People who worked for them routinely signed for them. If the are authentic, the letter that you have will add value.
The inscription doesn't affect value.
Click "The Beatles" at the left side menu. There is a lot of information there regarding values.
