by Dianne Ward

I have autographed photos of Tab Hunter, Kirk Douglas, Chuck O'Connor, Gale Storm, Jerry Wagner, and Babe Ruth. They are from 1945-1950. Are they worth anything? Thank you,

Babe Ruth Autographed Photo
by: Bill

If you have an autographed Babe Ruth photo, it is certainly worth something - $5000 upwards. If it is a good photo with a nice autograph it could be worth significantly more than $5000. Be sure it is an authentic original autograph, not a preprint. His autographs are not rare, but demand is high. Finding an original autograph would be a real find in every sense of the word, and you wouldn't have a problem finding a buyer if you wanted to sell.

Tab Hunter was a big star in the 1950s and 1960s, and he had a resurgence as a cult star in the 1980s in movies like Polyester and Lust in the Dust. His official website sells signed photos for $20.

Kirk Douglas is a Hollywood legend, a major star from the 1940s through the 1970s, and he was still appearing in movies up until a few years ago. He has always been good to autograph collectors, and until old age and poor health slowed him down, he was good about signing through the mail. An authentic Kirk Douglas autographed photo is worth about $100, and values are likely to rise.

Gale Storm was the star of the 1950s sitcom "My Little Margie." She was also a recording star and starred in several movies. She sells autographed photos on her website for $35.
