Autographs on Concorde Flights

by Graham Pritchard
(Barnsley, England)

Whilst flying on the Concorde on 5th July 1999 as the result of winning a competition, seated on the plane was Pete Sampras and John McEnroe. Sampras won Wimbledon on 4th July and was flying home to New York. I got both autographs on same piece of Concorde headed paper.

On the return flight on 9th July 1999, I got autograph on Concorde postcard of Michael Jordan, basketball player.

Concorde Autographs
by: Bill

Since the Concorde doesn't fly today, items from the days it did fly are collectible, or at the very least they are conversation pieces.

The Michael Jordan autograph is worth $100. That's a nice one to have, one of the best in modern-day sports.

The John McEnroe autograph is worth about $25, and the Pete Sampras about $10.

Some collectors might pay more for the autographs because they are on Concorde items.
