Autographed Mammie Peanut Johnson Baseball

I have an autographed baseball. It is signed and dated by famous black female player Mammie (Peanut) Johnson. I would like to know if you will buy this baseball, and how much you would pay for it. I also have authentication paperwork on her background.

Thank you for your time and consideration I hope to hear from you soon.

Ms. Lane.

Mammie Peanut Johnson Signed Photo
by: Bill

Mamie "Peanut" Johnson was one of only three women to play in the Negro Leagues. She pitched for the Indianapolis Clowns for three seasons from 1953 to 1955. She was certainly qualified to play baseball with some of the best male players in the history of game - she won 33 games and lost only 8. She has said that Satchell Paige helped her perfect her curve ball.

After her three years with the Clowns, she worked as a nurse for thirty years. Upon retirement, she managed the Negro Baseball League's Memorabilia Shop in Prince George's County, Maryland, where she no doubt signed a lot of autographs.

The Negro Leagues are highly collectible today. A Mamie Peanut Johnson signed photo is worth $30 - $50.
