Anthony Bourdain seems like a regular Joe with many real world experiences. He travels all over the world and goes to countries where I want to travel in the future. There's a world outside our door, and I don't think many people realize that. He kicks the door down and shows the world how other people really live. He doesn't excuse poverty, but accepts it like other people do in the community. He accepts cultures and does not harbor pretentious western views of the people on the show.
