979 Danny Thomas Memphis Classic Golf Program Bear Bryant Autograph

I was recently going through my grandfather's closet, and I found a 1979 Danny Thomas Memphis Golf Classic Program with 10 Autographs. The Autographs are listed clockwise starting from top left:

1. Andy Bean - Golfer
2. Al Geiberger - Golfer
3. Danny Thomas - TV Star, Founder of St. Jude's , Sponsor of Tournament
4. Don January - Golfer
5. Miller Barber - Golfer
6. Jerry Pate - Golfer
7. Bear Bryant - Legendary College Football Coach
8. Dave Stockton - Golfer
9. Jack Renner - Golfer
10. I have no idea, maybe you can tell from the scans.

My grandfather says that all autographs are authentic. Jerry Pate played with Danny Thomas and Bear Bryant. He doesn't know who the last autograph is. He has dementia, so he doesn't remember very much these days.

Would this program be of any value? Please let me know if getting the autographs verified would change the value. If it is not very valuable I am just going to get it framed. If you would like better pictures please let me know. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Jeff

Golf Program with Bear Bryant Autograph
by: Bill

The golfers on that program are inexpensive autographs. Most of their signatures on a card or autograph album page are worth $10.00 or less. As a piece of golfing memorabilia, the program might be worth a couple hundred dollars or more, even if it didn't have Bear Bryant's autograph. Anything signed by Bryant is valuable to collectors of University of Alabama football memorabilia. There ares some collectors that have entire rooms devoted to Bear Bryant.

The Danny Thomas autograph might add some value. He was a big celebrity in his time and he was a well-respected humanitarian.

I think your program should be worth several hundred dollars. It is hard to place a more concrete value on a unique item like this.
